Views of Renunciant Life 079 -- 1989 A long-time Franciscan friar who holds a supervisory post, an old friend of Bill de Groot, visits the Institute and shares information on monastic lifestyle and principles. Similarities in practice with our community include approaches to prayer and meditation, employment and livelihood issues, practices of initiation, teaching, and service to God and others. The group raises a rich variety of questions, touching on art and truffling as spiritual practices, applied humility, and the suffering of the Absolute.
